Beer Marinated Flank Steak Tacos

Does it get much better than beef marinated in beer? Not really. These tacos, taken from a simple recipe from Bon Appetite, pretty much prove it.


This week, I’ll be starting the Whole30 diet, and while I generally try to eat healthy, I’ll be missing my beer and carbs this month. So I thought I’d go out with a bang! And these tacos were absolutely the way to do it. The complex flavors of the beer and lime marinade married with a light char from the grill, creamy avocado, and bright cilantro makes these tacos the perfect summer dish.

Not only are they incredibly delicious, but they’re also incredibly simple. Yes, the meat needs to be marinated for 3 hours or so, but actual hands on time only amounts to a few minutes.

side tacosFold these tender strips of steak in fresh corn tortillas and top with guacamole, salsa, cojita cheese, cilantro, and lime. Or top a bed of greens with all these toppings for a lighter option. Either way, you won’t be disappointed. Visit for the full recipe!
